Blueface booked for obstructing deputies after a fake gun call in Santa Clarita
Blueface was arrested Monday night in Santa Clarita for delaying deputies who answered what turned out to be a false report of a man with a gun.

Blueface is in trouble with the law once more. The rapper was taken into custody Monday night in Santa Clarita.
The call that started it
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says deputies were sent to a business in the Valencia neighborhood at 7:43 p.m. The caller claimed a man was aiming a gun at someone there.
Deputies detained several people when they arrived. Blueface was one of them. The department says he would not follow their orders.
A hoax after all
Investigators later decided the report was fake. The incident was a case of swatting, where someone makes a bogus emergency call to send armed officers to a location.
Blueface was still arrested on a count of delaying the investigation.
A long list of run-ins
The rapper has clashed with police many times. He was detained in August, just months after getting out of prison. He also remains on probation tied to a 2022 shooting case in Las Vegas.
There has been happier news lately. He and Chrisean Rock, his partner on and off for years, are now engaged.
