Kirko Chainz is back: Kirk Cousins brings the bling and the burgers to the Raiders
After a comeback win over the Jets, Kirk Cousins revived his Kirko Chainz alter ego on the flight home and treated Raiders teammates to In-N-Out.

Kirko Chainz has officially arrived in Las Vegas.
Kirk Cousins brought back his famous alter ego after the Las Vegas Raiders rallied to beat the New York Jets 38-33 on the road Sunday. The win snapped a four-game losing streak and got the Raiders to 4-4. It is the first time the team has been .500 or better through eight games since 2021.
On the long flight home, the 38-year-old quarterback took off his shirt and let teammates load him up with expensive chains and watches.
"It's been a while. The longer the flight, the more likely the chains," said Cousins, who accounted for four touchdowns in the win.
Where it all started
Kirko Chainz was born in 2022 when Cousins was with the Minnesota Vikings. After a comeback win over Washington, a video of him dancing to Real Boston Richey's "Bullseye 2" while wearing his teammates' jewelry went viral.
Running back Dylan Laube, who was in college at New Hampshire at the time, finally got to see it in person.
"I mean, he loves the attention," Laube said. "He's just an unreal person."
The whole team chipped in
Cornerback Eric Stokes added a piece to Cousins' wrist. Defensive tackle Adam Butler supplied a big Millennium Ring necklace from the anime series "Yu-Gi-Oh."
Star pass rusher Maxx Crosby handed over several watches and chains of his own.
"Kirk is the man. ... One of the funnier dudes you'll ever meet," Crosby said. "He probably [has] the most dad vibe energy on the planet."
Stolen jokes and burgers
Cousins also busted out a "wellness" celebration after his third-quarter touchdown, a nod to the team's training staff. On Wednesday he admitted Laube came up with it.
Cousins joked that he does not write his own material. He said he steals jokes from other people and is "just a better megaphone."
He has also led trips to In-N-Out Burger after every win, inviting more teammates each time. The losing streak put those runs on hold for a month. After the Jets win he treated No. 1 pick Fernando Mendoza, tackle Kolton Miller, tight end Brock Bowers, Laube and others.
"In-N-Out's not that expensive," Cousins said. "You put your card down; it doesn't go too far, which is nice."
Before the game, coach Klint Kubiak asked Cousins to talk to the team about playing with joy. His message was that comparison is the thief of joy.
"He brings that joy every single day," Laube said.
