Carl Westcott wants to question Katy Perry and ex Orlando Bloom over unpaid mansion money
Businessman Carl Westcott says Katy Perry still owes him millions from a Santa Barbara home deal. Now he wants to question her and her ex Orlando Bloom.

The long-running court fight over Katy Perry's Santa Barbara mansion may not be finished with her yet. This time her ex Orlando Bloom could get pulled in too.
The new request
Carl Westcott, the businessman behind the case, has filed new court papers asking for permission to subpoena both stars. That would let him question them about money he says he is still owed.
According to his filing, Perry wired him $900,000 in June but never sent the rest of the balance.
How the case got here
Westcott originally sued Perry's business manager, Bernie Gudvi, in an effort to undo the $15 million sale of the home. He lost.
The court ordered him to hand the property over to Perry. She in turn was ordered to cover what remained of the purchase price, which worked out to roughly $4 million.
The other side
Gudvi pushed back, arguing there is nothing urgent about the request. He says the remaining money can't go to Westcott until a separate appeal is settled. That dispute involves about $3 million that Westcott allegedly owes Gudvi.
Gudvi also accused Westcott of using the subpoena bid to harass the former couple. A judge has not ruled yet.
Perry and Bloom started dating in 2016 and broke up in 2025. They have a 6-year-old daughter named Daisy.
