Kaia Gerber keeps it low-key on a rare LA outing weeks after losing her brother

Kaia Gerber made a quiet appearance in Los Angeles on Thursday. She hid behind oversized dark sunglasses during one of the few times she has been seen in public since her brother Presley Gerber died.
Dressed down
The 25-year-old actress kept her look simple in a blue sweater with black sweatpants.
She has mostly stayed out of sight since Sept. 20. Presley died that day not long after he checked into Resolutions, a sober living facility in Santa Monica.
A family leaning on each other
Kaia has been grieving alongside her parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. The Clooneys, George and Amal, have been seen at their side as well.
Questions about the facility
Presley was brought to Resolutions by a sober coach. According to sources, staff let him stay even though he was impaired at intake.
When approached about Presley, the facility's owner, Dr. Reza Nabavi, would not talk about it.
A cause of death has not been released yet. It is listed as deferred.
