Hawks rout the Mavericks and the Bucks edge the Pacers in overtime on the last Friday of the NBA preseason
Atlanta beat Dallas 135-111 despite 26 points from Cooper Flagg while Milwaukee won 128-127 in overtime at Indiana and Orlando cruised past Miami.

The NBA's final Friday of exhibition games gave a few teams a strong send-off before the regular season starts Tuesday.
Hawks pull away in Dallas
Atlanta beat the Mavericks 135-111 at American Airlines Center. Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored 25 points in 27 minutes and Jalen Johnson added 20 points and 14 rebounds. The Hawks led 73-54 at halftime after getting hot from three-point range in the second quarter.
Cooper Flagg led Dallas with 26 points and 12 rebounds in its final preseason game. He made 8 of 20 shots and got to the free-throw line 12 times. Kyrie Irving hit five threes. Officials called 48 fouls and the teams combined for 71 free-throw attempts.
Bucks steal one in overtime
Milwaukee rallied to beat Indiana 128-127 in overtime in its preseason finale. Tyler Herro scored 25 points on 10-of-16 shooting with five threes. Pascal Siakam had all 24 of his points in the first half for the Pacers, shooting 8 of 10, before Indiana rested its starters after the break.
The Bucks trailed by 15 at halftime and came all the way back. Kam Jones hit a corner three to tie it at 113 late in the fourth quarter and Kel'el Ware dunked to tie it again at 117 and force overtime. Kasparas Jakucionis made three key plays in the final minutes of the extra period to help close it out. Milwaukee grabbed 19 offensive rebounds and outscored Indiana 26-12 on second-chance points.
Magic close strong at home
Orlando finished its preseason with a 136-115 win over a Miami team playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo. Paolo Banchero scored 24 points and made 13 of 16 free throws. Desmond Bane hit seven of 12 threes and scored 23 points in 24 minutes. Nikola Vucevic had 13 points and seven rebounds in his first game back at Kia Center since re-signing with the Magic.
"I like where our group is at," Bane said. "I think we have an identity on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. We have a chance to be a really good team."
There was some worry for Orlando. Franz Wagner left early in the third quarter with right shoulder soreness and Noah Penda hurt his right hamstring. Rookie Ryan Conwell led Miami with 21 points. The Magic later waived Malaki Branham, JD Davison and Kevin Knox II before Wednesday's opener at home against Atlanta.
