Woman charged after husband and toddler son found stabbed at Great Wolf Lodge
Police accuse Metallica Rose Harrison of killing her husband and their 3-year-old son at a Pocono Great Wolf Lodge before asking 911 for help dying.

A family stay at a popular Pennsylvania water-park resort ended in a double homicide case that local authorities are still piecing together.
The emergency call
Police name Metallica Rose Harrison as the suspect. They say she phoned 911 near 3:15 p.m. Monday and asked for aid dying after an alleged attempt on her own life.
On that call she reportedly told operators that her husband and little boy were already gone and that she wanted to follow them.
Inside the lodge room
Responding officers found Harrison hurt on her wrist and neck. Charles Harrison and their son listed only as T.H. were dead on different mattresses in the same unit.
Charles had multiple chest stab wounds according to investigators. The toddler had one stab wound to the chest.
What she told first responders
Cops say Harrison kept saying she had messed everything up while medics moved her to a hospital. She also allegedly insisted she had tried hard as a mother and wife and added that the ending was never meant to look like this.
The Harrisons had checked into Great Wolf Lodge on Sept. 21 and lengthened the visit so checkout would fall on Tuesday.
She now faces a pair of criminal homicide counts. No public motive has been given. The lodge called the case a devastating family tragedy and says staff are working with detectives.
