Gleb Savchenko alleges his ex pushed weight loss medication on their teenage daughter

Gleb Savchenko of Dancing with the Stars has leveled troubling new accusations at his former wife over their teenage daughter. He wants a judge to step in.

What the filing says

In court documents Savchenko says his daughter Olivia, 15, told him her mother Elena Samodanova made hurtful remarks about her looks and her weight. He also claims Samodanova gave the teen weight loss medication without talking to him first and without proper medical supervision.

He says Olivia described other treatment too. According to the filing she was given the silent treatment for long stretches and had the door taken off her bedroom as a punishment.

What he is asking for

Savchenko says he fears for his daughter's physical and emotional health. He wants the court to bar both parents from treating the children in ways that could harm them.

He is not trying to change where the girls mainly live. Olivia and her younger sister Zlata are based with Samodanova in Hong Kong. He is asking the court to make sure his time with them is not cut short or disrupted unless both sides agree in writing.

A bitter custody fight

The former couple have been at odds over custody for some time. Savchenko previously claimed his ex kept the girls in Hong Kong well past what he understood to be a short-term move.

He has also alleged that Samodanova and her fiancé messaged Olivia with improper remarks about him that included sexually explicit comments. Samodanova has denied those claims and called them completely untrue.

Samodanova for her part has accused Savchenko of keeping Olivia in Los Angeles when she should have gone back to Hong Kong, where she says the girls have built their lives.
