Jets rule out Garrett Wilson against the Chiefs with a concussion
New York Jets WR Garrett Wilson was ruled out Friday for Sunday's game at Kansas City after entering the concussion protocol earlier in the week.

The Jets will be without their top receiver in Kansas City.
Coach Aaron Glenn ruled wide receiver Garrett Wilson out Friday for Sunday's game against the Chiefs after Wilson entered the concussion protocol earlier in the week.
Wilson leads New York with 43 catches for 527 yards and three touchdowns through eight games. The Jets are 2-6.
How the injury happened
Wilson took a blow to the head from Raiders safety Jeremy Chinn on the next-to-last play of last week's 38-33 loss. He stayed in the game and seemed fine afterward then reported symptoms Monday.
Offensive coordinator Frank Reich said Adonai Mitchell and rookie Omar Cooper Jr. will shoulder more of the workload. Mitchell had a career-high 142 yards last week.
Hall returns as Wilson sits
Running back Breece Hall will be a full participant Friday after a five-game quad absence. Glenn said Hall and Braelon Allen will both play.
Linebacker Trevin Wallace (groin) is also out. The Jets visit the Chiefs (5-2) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.
