Adult film star Drake Von cleared as a judge tosses every count in his Las Vegas case
A judge threw out all five counts against adult film actor Drake Von, including robbery and domestic battery, after prosecutors asked to drop the case.

Adult film actor Drake Von is no longer facing the robbery and domestic violence counts filed against him in Las Vegas.
A judge threw out all five charges in the case. Those counts covered robbery and coercion connected to domestic violence. They also included domestic battery by strangulation plus two other domestic battery counts.
Prosecutors backed off
The ruling came after prosecutors asked the court last week to drop the case. The defense raised no objection, so the judge signed off.
Von, whose legal name is Dawson Bacon, celebrated the outcome. "I knew I was innocent from the start," he said, adding that he was grateful the matter was over.
How the case began
Police in Las Vegas arrested him back in June. On body camera footage, the woman who accused him told officers she could not breathe during the incident and briefly blacked out.
Von pushed back at the time. He described the incident as a misunderstanding and suggested it was a stunt for attention.
One case still open
With the dismissal the case is closed. A no-contact order tied to it has also been lifted.
He is not fully in the clear yet. A separate DUI case stemming from the same June arrest is still working its way through court.
