Dolly Parton's manager drops lawsuit against nephew Bryan Seaver
Danny Nozell voluntarily dismissed his suit against Dolly Parton's nephew Bryan Seaver without prejudice after alleging threats to her business empire.

Dolly Parton's manager Danny Nozell has voluntarily dismissed his lawsuit against the late singer's nephew Bryan Seaver.
According to reports Nozell filed the notice of dismissal on Thursday after alleging Seaver had threatened Dolly's business empire. The move comes before a hearing that had been set for Tuesday and before Nozell had to answer Seaver's denial of the claims.
Seaver's attorney Dominic J. Leonardo said his client cares deeply about his aunt's music family and legacy and is grateful to put the misunderstanding behind him so the family can keep grieving in peace.
It is unclear whether the sides reached a settlement. Nozell dismissed the case without prejudice so he could file again later.
Seaver had earlier asked a judge to throw out the case arguing the texts at issue were jokes and never threats. That fight over Dolly's estate had already produced a restraining-order battle between the nephew and the business team.
