Coby White set to make his season debut for the Hornets as Kon Knueppel nears a return
Coby White is set to play his first game of the season for Charlotte against Detroit. Coach Charles Lee says Kon Knueppel is right around the corner.

The Charlotte Hornets are finally getting healthy.
Point guard Coby White is set to make his season debut Monday night when Charlotte hosts the Detroit Pistons. Coach Charles Lee also said star shooting guard Kon Knueppel is "right around the corner."
Lee did not give an exact date for Knueppel.
Two offseason injuries
White hurt his calf and Knueppel hurt his hamstring during offseason workouts. Neither had played this season.
White became Charlotte's starting point guard after the team traded LaMelo Ball this offseason. Dennis Schroder has been starting in his place.
Lee said White will be on a minutes limit for the next few games.
Knueppel getting closer
Knueppel led the NBA in 3-pointers last season. He averaged 18.5 points plus 5.3 rebounds and finished second to Cooper Flagg in rookie of the year voting.
He has been taking part in 5-on-5 drills. The team has started adding contact work for him too.
When he returns, Knueppel is expected to take Sion James' spot in the starting lineup.
A busy week
After Monday's game, the Hornets visit the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. They host the Boston Celtics on Thursday.
