The Philadelphia 76ers will play Saturday's road game against the Charlotte Hornets without their two biggest names. LeBron James and Joel Embiid are both out with what the team calls injury management.

James is listed with low back soreness and sciatica. Embiid is dealing with plantar fasciitis in his right foot.

Saturday is the second night of a back-to-back for Philadelphia, its second of the season. The Sixers are expected to keep playing it safe with both stars on back-to-backs as the long season goes on.

A first this season

Each star has already sat out one game for injury management this season, but this is the first time they will both miss the same game.

Jaylen Brown is listed as questionable. He missed Friday night's home win over the New York Knicks with a left patella injury. Center Tacko Fall (quad) and forward Jabari Walker (knee) are also questionable. Fall has not played a game yet this season. Walker has been out since he hurt his knee in last Saturday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Coming off his best night as a Sixer

The timing stings a little for James. Coach Nick Nurse called Friday's win over the Knicks his "best game" of the season. James had his first 20-point game in a Sixers uniform with 20 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
