Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber step out together weeks after losing Presley

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber are slowly returning to public life. The couple was seen walking hand in hand in Malibu weeks after the death of their son Presley.

A quiet walk in Malibu

The two strolled along Zuma Beach dressed for a workout. Crawford had on a white long-sleeve top with leggings. Gerber matched her in a white shirt with athletic shorts. Both wore baseball caps.

The pair had largely stayed out of sight since Presley died at a rehab facility in Santa Monica.

Friends rally around the family

Close friends have stood by them. George Clooney recently said Presley's death was among the most devastating events his own family has been through.

Questions remain

Officials are still investigating what caused Presley's death. His passing has also drawn scrutiny of the sober living home where he was staying.

Sources say relatives are upset about some of the treatment his doctors gave him. That reportedly included ketamine prescriptions.

The family is said to be leaning toward a private memorial. It is not known whether one has already been held.

Many friends and former girlfriends have posted tributes to Presley online. Crawford, Gerber and their daughter Kaia have not yet made any public statement.
