A quiet family visit

Photos show the three of them meeting up at Kaia's place. The visit came just over three weeks after Presley Gerber, Cindy and Rande's son and Kaia's brother, died.

The family has mostly stayed out of view since the loss. Relatives and close friends have surrounded them with support.

What is known about Presley's death

Presley died on September 20 at a sober-living home in Santa Monica. Staff discovered him unresponsive in one of the bedrooms only hours after his arrival.

Sources say he had a sober coach with him around the clock. The coach reportedly brought him to the residence the evening before.

According to those sources Presley appeared to be on drugs when he arrived at the facility, Resolutions Living. Rehab programs generally refuse to admit anyone who shows up under the influence. The coach is said to have called ahead to warn staff about his condition. The home reportedly took him in anyway.

The facility's owner, Dr. Reza Navabi, was asked why Presley was admitted after that warning. He did not answer.

Police are treating the case as a suspected overdose. Officials have yet to rule on what killed him or how.

Friends by their side

George Clooney and his wife Amal have also been there for the family. The longtime friends were photographed earlier visiting Kaia's home after Presley died.
