Carrot Top thanks fans for their support and says he is returning to the Luxor stage Monday

Carrot Top is speaking out for the first time since his suicide attempt. The comedian also confirmed he will be back on a Las Vegas stage soon.

A message to fans

In an Instagram post on Saturday, he said he has been overwhelmed by all the love, prayers and kind wishes sent his way over the last few weeks.

He wrote that each message and text meant a great deal to him. He wanted his fans to know he had felt their love and appreciation.

Back at the Luxor

The same post included details on getting tickets for his Monday show at the Luxor.

What happened in September

The comedian was rushed to the hospital in mid-September. Sources say he had taken prescription medication and suffered an overdose. His lawyer has claimed that someone was trying to extort him over a sex tape before the attempt.

Since leaving the hospital he has been spotted spending time at a church near his home. He had not performed again before this announcement.
