The Denver Broncos will be short in the secondary on Thursday night.

Denver ruled out cornerback Pat Surtain II and safety Talanoa Hufanga for its home game against the Seattle Seahawks. Kickoff is 7:15 PM Central on Prime Video.

Denver's injury report

Surtain hurt his ankle in Week 4 and has not practiced since. Hufanga injured his ankle in Sunday's win over the Chargers and is expected to miss multiple weeks.

Cornerback Riley Moss is questionable with injured ribs. He sat out Week 5 and was limited in practice all three days this week.

There was good news on the line. Guard Ben Powers was a full participant along with safety Brandon Jones and defensive lineman Sai'vion Jones. None of them carry an injury designation.

Seattle's report

The Seahawks will keep running back Zach Charbonnet out for one more game. He has practiced since Oct. 1 as he works back from a torn ACL. Seattle must activate him next week for him to return this season.

Linebackers Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt are also out. Receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and defensive tackle Leonard Williams have ankle injuries but no designation, so both are on track to play. Smith-Njigba leads the NFL in receiving yards.

Seattle also signed running back Velus Jones to the active roster and released receiver Irv Charles. Charles went back to the practice squad and could be called up for the game.
