The Los Angeles Chargers' rough start keeps getting worse. Denver beat them 23-17 on Sunday and the Chargers are now 0-5.

Late kicks decide it

The Chargers fought back to tie the game in the second half, but the Broncos answered. Denver's field goals in the fourth quarter put the game away.

The Broncos improved to 3-2 heading into a short week. They play Seattle on Thursday night.

History is not on their side

An 0-5 start leaves the Chargers in a deep hole in the AFC West. Only one team in NFL history has reached the playoffs after starting 0-4. That was the 1992 San Diego Chargers.
