Podcast host Brandi Kruse says she was assaulted before security walked her out of a Thorns game
unDivided host Brandi Kruse says stadium staff forced her out of a Portland Thorns match over an XX-XY Athletics shirt as fans attacked her group.

Podcast host Brandi Kruse was walked out of a Portland Thorns match after refusing to remove a shirt from a brand that opposes transgender athletes in women's sports.
The shirt
The "unDivided" host wore apparel from XX-XY Athletics to the National Women's Soccer League game on Oct. 23. She says she was told to leave because of it.
Brandi says she and others went to the match to protest after another fan was reportedly ejected earlier for wearing the same brand.
Caught on video
In clips Brandi shared on Instagram, a security guard tells her she has to go. Brandi refuses and insists she has done nothing wrong.
The guard then says she will escort Brandi out and put hands on her to do it. A later video shows the guard leading Brandi out with her arm held behind her back. Asked by someone filming whether Brandi was under arrest, the guard said no and explained that Brandi had refused to leave when asked. Brandi said she was being restrained.
Her claims
Brandi claims she was assaulted during the confrontation. She says people hit her with flag poles, poured beer on her and screamed at her. She also says a 57-year-old woman in her group was shoved over two rows of seats by a male fan.
She says the stadium never explained why her group was being removed.
The team responds
The Thorns did not comment right away. The club later said it is committed to a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. It added that security and enforcement decisions are managed locally and that it is reviewing them to make sure its policies were applied appropriately and consistently.
