Investigators digging at a house in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood have turned up bones, according to local reports.

The discovery

Sources told 6abc Philadelphia that the city medical examiner's office was called to the property on the north side of the city Thursday to collect the bones.

Officials have not said whether the bones are human. They also have not said whether they have anything to do with the case. Forensic experts are still examining them.

Seven missing women

Seven women who are missing have been tied to the home. According to the report, the link came from videos and photos recovered during the investigation.

Digging at the property began earlier in the week. Investigators also sprayed luminol there, a chemical that reveals traces of blood too faint to see.

Who lived there

According to 6abc, the home was once owned by Raymond Horsch. He made pornography and in 2014 self published a novel titled "Empathy: The Memoir of an Empathetic Serial Killer." He was 82 when he died last year.

In June his son Eugene Horsch was taken into custody on federal firearms and drug counts.
