A Weimaraner keeps begging a Halloween skeleton to throw her Frisbee and he will not budge

A playful gray Weimaraner found the perfect fetch partner in a lawn chair. One problem. He is a Halloween skeleton and his throwing days are long over.

Dogs are not picky about who plays fetch with them. This one does not even need her partner to have a pulse.

The perfect patio guest

A short video making the rounds this week shows a sleek gray Weimaraner standing next to a Halloween skeleton. He is lounging in a patio chair like a retiree enjoying the afternoon. His jaw hangs open. His bony arms rest on the chair.

To the dog he looks like the ideal playmate. He is sitting right there and he has nothing else to do.

Please just throw it

So she brings him her Frisbee. Then she waits. Then she nudges it closer and waits some more. The skeleton keeps staring into the distance as if he has been sitting out there for a few hundred years.

Text on the clip sums up her mood perfectly. Dead or alive, she just wants somebody to throw the thing.

Viewers could not stop laughing at how determined she was. One person joked that he cannot even rest in peace when somebody wants to play. Another imagined the dog asking her mom why her new friend was broken. Plenty of people pointed out that she was standing right in front of him so the least he could do was give it a toss.

Built to play all day

The breed explains a lot. Weimaraners were bred as hunting dogs and they are known for boundless energy. They usually need lots of running and games to stay happy. Fetch with a Frisbee is near the top of the list.

Most of those games need a partner who can move. Her new buddy will not be much help this October. Somebody in the family may want to step in before she files a complaint.
