A man dresses as his dog's favorite toy for Halloween and gets fetched straight to the dog bed
One man thought a giant tennis ball costume would make a cute Halloween clip. His ball-crazy terrier saw the biggest toy of his life and went all in.

Some dogs love tennis balls. This one loves them so much that a man-sized version was simply too good to pass up.
The costume
The video starts with a guy standing in his yard in a huge round tennis ball costume. It is bright yellow and fuzzy with holes for his head and legs and one more big opening in the middle. He keeps a perfectly straight face like nothing unusual is going on.
His dog, an American Staffordshire Terrier, does not stay calm for long.
Tackle number one
Within seconds the pup launches himself at the giant ball at full speed. Man and costume go straight down onto the grass. The dog's head goes right for that hole in the middle as if he is trying to find the squeaker.
Tackle number two
The owner gets up and tries to make a run for it. That only makes things worse. The dog chases him down and the moment the man turns around he gets flattened a second time.
The grand finale
The ending is what has everyone replaying the clip. The dog climbs inside the costume with his owner and then takes off toward his dog bed. The man does not have to walk a single step. His dog just hauls the whole ball home like the prize it is.
The internet approves
The post has pulled in well over 190,000 likes on Instagram. Commenters could not get over the finish. One viewer joked that the dog had claimed his tennis ball and galloped back to bed like a gazelle.
It is the time of year when people dress their pets in costumes. This pet parent flipped the script and dressed up for his dog. Judging by the tackles it was the best gift he could have given him. Next year he may want to add some knee pads.
