Waldo Cortes-Acosta outweighs Johnny Walker by 23 pounds at UFC Vegas 124 weigh-ins
All 28 fighters made weight for UFC Vegas 124 with Waldo Cortes-Acosta at 262 pounds and Johnny Walker at 239 for Saturday's heavyweight main event.

Saturday's UFC main event already has a size storyline.
At Friday's official weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 124 at the Meta Apex Waldo Cortes-Acosta tipped the scale at 262 pounds — 23 pounds heavier than Johnny Walker who weighed 239 for their heavyweight headliner.
All 28 fighters on the card successfully made weight.
Short-notice heavyweights
The bout was pieced together after welterweights Gabriel Bonfim and Sean Brady fell out because of a Brady injury. Walker is fighting for the second time in 35 days after knocking out Mick Parkin in his heavyweight debut at UFC 332. Cortes-Acosta last fought at Noche UFC 4 less than two months ago.
Walker moved up from light heavyweight for this stretch. Cortes-Acosta has long been a natural heavyweight.
Strawweight co-main
Tatiana Suarez (115.5) and Virna Jandiroba (116) both made weight for the co-main event which could reshape the strawweight title picture. Suarez is ranked No. 3 at 115 pounds after wins over Loopy Godinez and Amanda Lemos. Jandiroba is ranked No. 2.
The main card airs Saturday night on Paramount+ with prelims earlier in the evening.
