Trump brings up Jon Husted's backside one more time at a Kentucky rally
Campaigning in Highland Heights, Kentucky, President Trump again told the crowd he could not stop looking at Ohio Sen. Jon Husted's rear end.
President Donald Trump is out stumping for Sen. Jon Husted. He also keeps returning to one of his strangest campaign bits: the senator's rear end.
A stop in Kentucky
Trump took the stage in Highland Heights, Kentucky, where Republicans are rallying voters before the midterms.
Husted is running in Ohio rather than Kentucky. Trump still found a way to praise the senator's backside from the stage.
What he told the crowd
Trump once again owned up to studying Husted from behind. He told the audience he simply could not look away.
He called it the first time he had ever checked out a man. He also listed Husted's shoulders and jawline among the features that grabbed his attention.
Trump insisted that sizing up other men is not something he normally does. When it happens, though, he apparently gets hooked.
Not the first time
The president floated a similar line at an earlier rally. Back then he claimed he looked over Husted's behind to confirm the senator really had been an athlete.
Pete Buttigieg tore into Trump over those comments in an interview.
