Titans cut Jordan Elliott after he reportedly went to his car for a gun following a practice argument
Tennessee released the defensive tackle after an internal review of an October 15 incident. A veteran teammate reportedly calmed things down.

The Tennessee Titans have released defensive tackle Jordan Elliott following a reported confrontation at the team's facility.
The team points to an incident
The Titans announced the move and said it followed an internal review of an "incident" at the facility on October 15, according to reports.
What reportedly happened
Elliott and teammate JC Latham reportedly argued before Elliott was told to leave practice that day. Reports say Elliott then walked to his car to get a firearm.
Veteran teammate John Franklin-Myers is said to have stepped in and calmed the situation before it went any further.
No charges filed
Nashville's Metro Police Department said no charges had been filed in connection with the reported incident.
Elliott joined the Titans this past offseason on a two-year contract. His representative was asked for comment but had not responded.
