Little Yorkie named Benny sends a black bear running from a North Carolina yard
A tiny Yorkie named Benny chased a black bear up a tree in his North Carolina yard. When the bear climbed down Benny ran it over the back fence.
A tiny Yorkie just showed a black bear who is boss.
Small dog, big attitude
The scene was captured on video at a home in North Carolina. A scrappy little Yorkie named Benny went after a bear that was many times his size.
Benny circled the tree with the bear just ahead of him. His owner could be heard trying to call him back.
Up the tree
The size gap did not seem to matter. The bear looked rattled by the yapping pup and climbed up the tree to get away from him.
Over the fence
Benny was not done. As soon as the bear came back down he took off after it again.
The bear ran across the yard and jumped the back fence. Then it vanished into the woods.
Benny stayed behind as the clear winner of the standoff.
