Banged-up Oklahoma City turns to Dalen Terry for its last open roster spot
The injury-hit Thunder agreed to a two-year deal with swingman Dalen Terry, a former No. 18 pick who trained with Golden State this offseason.

The Oklahoma City Thunder needed bodies. They found one in Dalen Terry.
Terry has agreed to a two-year deal with Oklahoma City. He fills the team's last open roster spot.
The 6-foot-6 swingman is entering his fifth NBA season. He spent the offseason training with the Golden State Warriors and went to camp with them last month.
Why now
The Thunder have been hit hard by injuries. Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace are both facing possible season-ending surgeries.
Star big man Chet Holmgren is also out more than two months with a small tear in his patellar tendon.
Oklahoma City had planned to give its last spot to free agent Ochai Agbaji. After Holmgren got hurt the team paused that plan on Friday to look at other options.
Who he is
Terry was the 18th pick in the 2022 draft. He has played for the Chicago Bulls and the Philadelphia 76ers.
Last season he played 48 games between the two teams. He averaged 3.7 points and 1.8 rebounds.
The 24-year-old has averaged 3.5 points over 218 career games.
