Taylor Swift gives The Fate of Ophelia its live debut at the Academy Museum Gala
Swift closed the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles with a surprise set for Hollywood's biggest names that included her first live take on The Fate of Ophelia.

Taylor Swift gave a ballroom full of movie stars a concert nobody had on the program. She wrapped up Saturday night's Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles with a surprise set that featured a live debut.
A first for The Fate of Ophelia
"The Fate of Ophelia" got its first public performance at the gala. The track comes from her 2025 album and had never been sung in front of an audience until Saturday.
The rest of the set
She also worked in "Love Story" and "Blank Space." A full band backed her for "I Knew It, I Knew You," the song she recorded for the "Toy Story 5" soundtrack.
Clips shared from the room show guests singing the words back to her and cheering between songs. Conan O'Brien handled her introduction and compared her to all four Beatles rolled into one person.
A Dior entrance
Before the music started, Swift walked the red carpet in a custom pale blue Dior gown finished with a bow covered in crystals.
What the night pays for
This was the sixth edition of the gala. The money it brings in helps fund the museum's exhibits, its education programs and its public film screenings.
Flying solo
Swift came without her husband Travis Kelce, who was getting ready for Sunday's Kansas City Chiefs game. The gala set was her first public performance since she played the Grammy Museum in August.
