Browns QB Shedeur Sanders hires his first agent
Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders signed with Adie von Gontard of Young Money APAA Sports after going without an agent through the draft and his early career.

Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has hired an agent for the first time. He had represented himself through the NFL Draft and the start of his pro career.
Sanders signed with Adie von Gontard, the CEO of Young Money APAA Sports. His former Colorado teammate Travis Hunter, now with Jacksonville, is also with the agency.
A move that could open doors
The change brings to mind Marvin Harrison Jr. The receiver was also self-represented until recently. Hiring an agent helped make his trade from Arizona to Houston happen.
Cleveland has not shown any interest in moving Sanders. Recent reports say the team wants to keep him and keep developing him. Still, having an agent in place could smooth the way for any deal down the line.
What comes next
For now Sanders remains a Brown. The signing gives him a professional voice in contract and business talks as his young career moves forward.
