Golden Knights bring back Noche de LosVGK tonight with a Día de Muertos twist for Latino fans in Las Vegas
Vegas hosts its third Noche de LosVGK tonight against Ottawa, honoring Latino culture in Southern Nevada with Día de Muertos touches and a collectible car.

Hockey and heritage meet in Las Vegas tonight. The Vegas Golden Knights are bringing back Noche de LosVGK, a night built to honor the culture, traditions and contributions of the Latino community across Southern Nevada.
The Knights host the Ottawa Senators at T-Mobile Arena with puck drop set for 7 p.m. Pacific time. This is the third year for the celebration and it is part of the team's lineup of themed nights marking its 10th season.
Benjamin Thomas, the team's director of Latino marketing and outreach, has said the night is about more than one game. He sees it as a way to build lasting ties with Latino fans throughout the year.
Día de Muertos at the rink
This year's festivities draw on Día de Muertos traditions, which fit right in with the calendar as families get ready to remember loved ones in the days ahead. Fans can expect special entertainment, exclusive merchandise and cultural touches throughout the arena.
A special ticket package comes with a limited-edition Noche de LosVGK die-cast model car. The team calls it a one-of-a-kind keepsake that celebrates Hispanic culture and Golden Knights pride.
Looking back
Past editions leaned into Day of the Dead style with a sugar skull version of the team's shield logo and an ofrenda set up inside the arena. Earlier crowds enjoyed a mariachi band from Las Vegas Academy, face painters inside and outside the building and Las Vegas-born DJ Shelco Garcia spinning before the game. The team has said more details about tonight's plans will come out before puck drop.
Latino fans make up a big and growing part of the hockey crowd in Las Vegas. The Knights are not alone in reaching out. Teams across the NHL and NBA have hosted their own Latino heritage nights this season.
For families in Southern Nevada, tonight is a chance to cheer on the home team while seeing their culture front and center on one of the city's biggest stages.
