Mark Walter says he will keep the Dodgers 'no matter what'
In his first public comments since reports of a federal probe, the Dodgers owner said he is not selling and expects to win for 10 years or more.

Mark Walter is not selling the Los Angeles Dodgers. The team's controlling owner told the California Post in an interview published Tuesday that he will keep the club "no matter what."
"We're going to be winning for 10 years or more," Walter said.
It was his first public comment since reports that federal authorities are looking into his businesses.
The investigation
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Manhattan and the Securities and Exchange Commission are reportedly investigating. The probe stems from a whistleblower complaint that alleges loans between companies tied to Walter were misrepresented. Insurance companies Delaware Life and Clear Springs Life and Annuity are part of the reports.
Walter said it was "not appropriate for me to comment" on the investigation.
Selling other teams
Walter, 66, has owned the Dodgers since 2012. He recently sold his stake in the Lakers to Josh Kushner and Bob Iger at a $12.5 billion valuation. He has also sold his stake in Chelsea and is reportedly looking to sell the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks.
He said the Lakers sale had "nothing to do with the Dodgers at all."
Looking ahead
The Dodgers fell short of a third straight title this year after the Milwaukee Brewers swept them in the NLCS. Walter said he hopes fans "can look forward to winning another World Series next year under my ownership."
