Marjorie Taylor Greene points the finger squarely at Trump after Republicans get crushed at the polls
Marjorie Taylor Greene says Donald Trump is to blame for the Republican collapse on Election Night. She called him a cult leader dragging the party down.

Marjorie Taylor Greene knows exactly who to blame for the Republican beating on Election Night. It's the president.
Greene was stopped by a camera crew Tuesday night as Democratic wins kept piling up. She did not hold back when asked who caused the GOP collapse.
"It's Donald Trump's fault," Greene said.
Voting like he was on the ballot
Greene pointed out that Trump had urged Americans to vote as though his own name was on the ballot. She says voters took him up on it and then picked Democrats.
She also slammed Republican lawmakers for following Trump with no questions asked. She described them as "cheerleading, clapping like baby seals" while ignoring the issues voters care about.
Greene listed health insurance, higher prices and wars overseas as the topics she believes the party has neglected.
A cult comparison
Greene accused GOP lawmakers of trailing behind a "cult leader" who is now taking them down with him.
Political commentator Van Jones went even further on Election Night. He likened the losses to the Jonestown tragedy.
"If you join a cult, at some point the cult leader takes you to Jonestown and tries to get you to drink the Kool-Aid," Jones said. "This is Jonestown for the Republican Party."
Jones argued that Republicans swallowed the Kool-Aid when they refused to push back on Trump. Now he says they are paying for it with voters.
Her advice to the GOP
Greene says Republicans need to quit chasing Trump's approval and invitations to Mar-a-Lago. She wants them to follow through on what they promised voters.
