Kellie Pickler and her late husband's parents finally put their three-year court fight to rest
Kellie Pickler reached a confidential settlement with Reed and Sharon Jacobs over property left by her late husband Kyle Jacobs, ending a three-year fight.

Kellie Pickler's long legal battle with her late husband's family is over.
Court documents show the former "American Idol" singer has reached a deal with Reed and Sharon Jacobs, who are Kyle's mother and father. The terms are being kept confidential.
The two sides had been fighting for three years. Kyle's parents accused Kellie of holding on to a long list of his belongings.
What they wanted back
Reed and Sharon tried to subpoena Kellie to get the items returned. Their list included Kyle's guns and a Rolex.
They also asked for his jewelry, though not his wedding ring. Music gear, his phone, a laptop, hard drives and his baseball cards were on the list as well.
Kellie said she had done nothing wrong. She argued that she could be the legal owner of the property.
In another filing Kyle's parents accused Kellie of turning a simple matter into something deeply personal. They said she was "painting herself as the tragic victim."
Kyle's death
Kyle was a well-known country songwriter. He passed away in February 2023 at age 49.
His death was ruled a suicide. It happened at the couple's house. She was there at the time but was sleeping in another room.
Based on the new filing the fight in court now appears to be done.
