John Goodman says no to a Meemaw guest spot for Roseanne Barr
Roseanne Barr says her son asked her old TV husband to appear on her comeback series Meemaw and he said no. She is not in touch with him or Laurie Metcalf.

Anyone hoping to see the Conners back together on Roseanne Barr's comeback show will be let down. John Goodman has said no.
The ask
Barr is returning to TV with a new series called "Meemaw" years after she was fired over racist social media posts. She said in a recent interview that her son reached out to Goodman about a guest spot and that he turned it down.
The subject came up when Barr was asked how she gets along with Goodman and Laurie Metcalf, her former "Roseanne" co-stars. She said she does not talk to either of them anymore.
Barr added that no one is more heartbroken about it than she is. She says she chooses to hold on to the happy memories.
Another rift
Barr is also at odds with Michael Fishman, her TV son D.J. Conner. Fishman recently said the original show was rightly canceled over her racist tweets. Barr hit back with a string of insults that included calling him a bigot.
Do not expect Fishman to turn up on "Meemaw" either.
