Joe Manganiello says a friend offered to abduct Nick Loeb

Joe Manganiello writes in his new memoir that a friend once offered to abduct and beat Sofía Vergara's ex-fiancé Nick Loeb. He says he thought about it and then said no.
Where the anger started
According to "Bloodlines," Manganiello's hard feelings toward Loeb began when Loeb sued Vergara over custody of their embryos and sent protesters to berate her at the "Magic Mike XXL" premiere. He says Loeb's continued attacks on Vergara pushed him close to the edge.
The offer he turned down
A friend who worked in private security allegedly offered to have Loeb snatched off the street, blindfolded, hog-tied, thrown in a van and driven into the woods for a warning and a beating. Manganiello says he nearly agreed.
He writes that he decided it was a bad idea and chose to leave Loeb to karmic justice instead. He also told Vergara they could never be near Loeb in public because he worried he might swing if they crossed paths.
More from the memoir
The book also includes harsh claims about how Vergara treated him during a serious autoimmune illness. He has separately alleged that Tom Cruise's past relationship with Vergara hurt his shot at Amazon's "Jack Reacher" series. Nick Loeb has not publicly responded to the abduction anecdote.
