Jalen Hurts shows up at the Eagles' building for the first time since his blood clot diagnosis
Injured Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts sat in on team meetings Wednesday, giving teammates their first look at him since blood clots were found in his lungs.

Jalen Hurts was back in the building Wednesday.
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback showed up at the team's practice facility, according to team sources. For some players it was the first time they had seen him since he went on injured reserve with blood clots in his lungs.
Hurts sat in on the team meeting along with other meetings. He did not speak to the team, but a source said his visit gave some players a lift.
Sirianni stays quiet
Earlier in the day coach Nick Sirianni would not say directly whether Hurts had been at the facility. He did say he had seen his quarterback.
"I've talked to him and am in constant communication with him and know he's resting and recovering," Sirianni said. "I miss him like crazy."
"We're all still praying for him and hoping for a speedy recovery," he added.
A scary diagnosis
Hurts, 28, is expected to miss the rest of the season.
He was first diagnosed with a superficial blood clot in London before the Eagles' Week 5 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played in that game and practiced in full the next Wednesday. A follow-up ultrasound that night showed the clot had moved.
The Eagles put him on injured reserve on Oct. 17. Two days later the team and his agent Nicole Lynn said he had a deep vein thrombosis along with blood clots in both lungs. The statement said he was clinically stable.
He is taking blood thinners, which rules out any contact activity, including football.
