Michael Desronvil, the lone juror who blocked a Lindsay Clancy verdict, says her lawyer's push to investigate him made him easy to identify and left him scared.

Michael Desronvil says the fallout from his lone vote in the Lindsay Clancy case left him looking over his shoulder. The holdout juror blames Clancy's own lawyer for making him a target.

Fear after the mistrial

Desronvil sat down with Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany on Thursday for his first TV interview. He told her he felt "scared" once defense attorney Kevin Reddington asked the judge to approve an investigation into him after his vote ended the trial in a mistrial.

Reddington's motion asked the court to look at how Desronvil used his cell phone data while the jury deliberated. It also sought answers about whether he had been honest on his jury questionnaire.

How he says he was singled out

According to Desronvil, Reddington kept calling him "he" while speaking to the judge in open court. Only 3 men sat on the 12-member jury. Desronvil believes that detail made it easier for people with bad intentions to work out who he was and possibly show up at his home.

He said no one ever threatened him physically despite the fear.

The 911 call

Desronvil also described how "surreal" it felt to hear the 911 call made by Patrick Clancy. He said Lindsay's ex sounded desperate and full of pain over the killings of their 3 young children.

He added that he would be willing to serve on a jury again if he is ever summoned.

A divided jury

Desronvil has already denied claims that he brushed aside reasonable doubt. He has said he believed Clancy planned the killings carefully. Other jurors see it differently. They accuse him of refusing to change his vote even though he allegedly admitted to having doubts.

Her defense team argues postpartum psychosis had taken hold of her at the time of the deaths. Prosecutors argued she understood what she was doing.

Earlier this month a judge refused Clancy's request to dismiss the murder charges. Her next court date is set for November 2.
