Halle Berry asks the judge to keep Maceo off the witness stand and claims Olivier Martinez is prepping him
Halle Berry says Olivier Martinez has been talking the custody case over with their 13-year-old son and wants the court to stop him from testifying.

Halle Berry is pushing back on the idea of her son speaking to the judge. In fresh court papers the actress says Maceo should not be called as a witness in her custody fight with Olivier Martinez.
The coaching claim
Berry claims her former husband has been going over the case with the 13-year-old. She says those talks have touched on what the boy might say in court.
Because of that she questions whether anything Maceo told the judge would truly be his own version of events.
She says the conversations have gone on for weeks. According to her filing a 2024 order already bars both parents from pulling Maceo into their court battles.
What she wants the court to do
Berry is asking the judge to order Martinez to stop talking with their son about the case. She also wants him barred from preparing Maceo to take the stand.
She argues the court does not need the boy's testimony. In her view there is already video footage to review. Her boyfriend Van Hunt was also there for the alleged Sept. 26 incident and can speak to what happened.
Martinez claims Berry went after Maceo that day following a fight over a VR game. Berry has denied hurting her son. She has also said a photo the boy reportedly took afterward does not show any injury.
Pressure on a 13-year-old
Berry says making Maceo testify would pile more stress on a kid who is already struggling with his parents' fight. She argues Martinez is not giving their son a voice so much as placing him in the middle of a dispute grown-ups should settle.
Martinez is the one who wanted the boy heard. He made that request after the September episode pushed him to go after a restraining order against Berry.
Both sides are due back in court on Friday.
