David Ortiz got stuck in an elevator twice before World Series Game 4
Big Papi told his Fox co-hosts he was trapped in an elevator twice before Game 4 in Tampa. Derek Jeter blamed Milwaukee ghosts.

David Ortiz had a rough trip to the ballpark for Game 4 of the World Series. Big Papi said on Fox's pregame show that he got stuck in an elevator in Tampa. Not once but twice.
Host Kevin Burkhardt brought it up on the air. He joked that things were not going well for the Rays or for Tampa in general. "Papi, you were one of them today. Good to see you made it."
"Twice, not once, twice," Ortiz said. "I got stuck in an elevator."
Ghost stories
Alex Rodriguez asked if he was claustrophobic. "Not really, but I was kind of getting worried at some point," Ortiz said. "But I got out. I'm here."
Derek Jeter had his own theory. The crew had just come from Milwaukee, where talk of a haunted hotel made the rounds. "The ghosts followed you from Milwaukee, man," Jeter said.
Ortiz played along. "Maybe," he said. "A lot of people from Wisconsin here. Somebody probably brought them on the airplane."
The series goes on
Tampa Bay won that night 4-3 in 12 innings to stay alive. The Milwaukee Brewers lead the series 3-1 going into Game 5 on Wednesday night at Tropicana Field.
