"Teen Mom" couple Taylor Selfridge and Cory Wharton break up after nine years
Selfridge says she walked away because she felt disrespected. Wharton says he wants to grow from his mistakes.

Nine years and two children later, Cory Wharton and Taylor Selfridge are no longer a couple.
Both reality stars announced the breakup on Instagram on Thursday, each with a post of their own. Selfridge left no doubt about who made the call. "Yes I left," she wrote, saying she had grown tired of how she was being treated and felt she deserved basic respect.
Wharton's side
Wharton shared a picture of himself with his three girls and said the two of them had chosen to part. He told her he was sorry for every time he had disappointed her and said his focus now is on owning his mistakes, growing up and healing.
A blended family
Selfridge and Wharton are parents to two daughters, Mila and Maya. Wharton is also dad to Ryder, the daughter he shares with fellow "Teen Mom" star Cheyenne Floyd.
The pair first crossed paths on the MTV dating series "Ex on the Beach" in 2017 and went public as a couple two years later.
Trouble on "The Challenge"
The split comes as Wharton's current season of "The Challenge" has shown him getting close to castmate Izzy Fairthorne. On the show he admitted he was drawn to her while opening up about strain in his relationship back home.
