Cornell Jane Doe told a university panel she felt "held up like bait" during alleged assault
A transcript obtained by ABC News shows the former student urged the school to remove the men she accused from campus.

The former Cornell University student known as Jane Doe described the night of her alleged assault in stark terms when she spoke to a university panel months later, according to a transcript obtained by ABC News.
She told the panel she felt "held up like bait for a gaggle of men" and recalled a dark room with men coming in and out. She also said she felt as though there was a joke she was not part of. She described the worst moment of the night as an alleged assault in a closet.
A request to the university
In her statement, she urged Cornell to remove the men she accused from campus, saying it would make the entire community safer.

The transcript is the latest in a series of disclosures in the case. Previously released police videos showed two fraternity members who are not defendants telling officers they had heard the encounter was consensual. Matthew Ingalls, one of the Chi Phi members later expelled, has claimed in the school proceedings that Jane Doe assaulted him that night.
Jane Doe's civil lawsuit accuses seven former members of drugging and sexually assaulting her in October 2024. The men deny the allegations and no criminal charges have been filed.
