Cardi B squeezes a full band behind NPR's Tiny Desk for an eight-song set
Cardi B ran through eight of her biggest songs in under 20 minutes at NPR's Tiny Desk. Favorites like "Up" and "Bodak Yellow" came before a closing "I Like It."

Cardi B brought her big personality to one of music's smallest stages. The rapper played NPR's Tiny Desk and made the most of every minute.
Eight hits in a hurry
She got through eight songs in less than 20 minutes. Fans heard stripped-down takes on favorites such as "Up" and "Bodak Yellow." She saved her chart-topping "I Like It" for the finale.
Dressed for the moment
Cardi kept the look sharp in black leather pants under a blazer. She smiled and laughed her way through the set.
A crowded little corner
The office space was packed. Her band included bass, piano, guitar and drums along with saxophone and trumpet players. Backup singers squeezed in too.
Even with all that talent around her, Cardi stayed the center of attention. Her mix of humor and energy made the short concert an easy one to watch again.
