Anaheim keeps finding ways even when leads get messy.

Beckett Sennecke scored twice and added an assist as the Ducks beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-4 on Thursday at Rogers Place for a third straight win.

Cutter Gauthier had a goal and an assist for his ninth goal in four games. Pavel Mintyukov scored twice.

Sennecke stacks points

Sennecke made it 4-2 late in the second then finished a power-play tic-tac-toe with Gauthier and Leo Carlsson early in the third for a 5-2 cushion.

The Ducks have scored at least five goals in six straight games for the first time in franchise history.

Oilers' late push falls short

Connor McDavid had a goal and three assists to stretch his point streak to 17 games. Kasperi Kapanen and Leon Draisaitl scored in the final four minutes but Edmonton could not tie it.

Laurent Brossoit made 23 saves. Anaheim improved to 8-7-1. The Oilers fell to 11-3-3.
