The WNBA's 30th season smashed records for viewers, crowds and sellouts
More than 90 million people watched and a record 3.8 million fans showed up as the WNBA's 30th season set marks on TV and in arenas.

The WNBA just had the biggest season in its history.
The league said Wednesday that its 30th season set records for TV viewers, attendance and sellouts.
"The league's 30th season has been one to remember, with extraordinary fan engagement, record viewership, packed arenas and spectacular basketball," Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said.
The TV numbers
More than 90 million unique viewers watched regular-season games on national networks. Fifty-one telecasts drew at least 1 million viewers, up from 19 last year. Nine topped 2 million, also a record.
The Chicago Sky against the Indiana Fever on Aug. 23 drew 3.31 million viewers. That was the most-watched regular-season game since the league's opening weekend in 1997.
Packed arenas
A record 3.8 million fans came out across 330 regular-season games. The average crowd was 11,474, up 21% from the old mark set last year. The league sold out 212 games, 33 more than last season. Four teams sold out every game.
The expansion Toronto Tempo set a single-game record with 20,996 fans at Bell Centre in Montreal on July 10.
Records on the court
Teams scored 87.1 points per game, the most ever. Atlanta's Angel Reese set season records with 32 double-doubles and 521 rebounds. Indiana's Kelsey Mitchell scored a record 1,086 points. Toronto's Marina Mabrey tied the single-game record with 53 points.
Connecticut's Brittney Griner became the career leader in blocks. Minnesota coach Cheryl Reeve passed Mike Thibault for the most regular-season wins by a coach and finished with 397.
The season wraps up with the WNBA Finals. The Atlanta Dream visit the Golden State Valkyries in Game 1 on Saturday at 2:30 PM Central on NBC and Peacock.
