The Philadelphia 76ers finally had everybody on the floor together. It showed.

Tyrese Maxey scored 15 of his game-high 26 points in the fourth quarter Monday night. LeBron James added 15 points with nine assists and seven rebounds as Philadelphia beat the Chicago Bulls 126-107.

The win was the Sixers' fourth in a row. At 7-1 they lead the Eastern Conference.

The full starting five

James, Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, Maxey and VJ Edgecombe started together. That group had not played in weekend wins over the New York Knicks on Friday and at Charlotte on Saturday.

Brown finished with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Edgecombe scored 21. Maxey also handed out 11 assists.

Embiid came in questionable with a foot injury. He had 15 points and eight rebounds and was not needed in the fourth quarter.

LeBron the passer

James had seven assists in the first half alone. Two of them were nearly full-court bounce passes that set up Edgecombe for easy finishes.

His layup with just under five minutes left in the third quarter pushed a five-point halftime lead to 85-68.

He later converted a three-point play that put Philadelphia up 16 with 5:40 to go.

Maxey takes over late

Maxey was fairly quiet through three quarters. He opened the fourth with a drive to the basket and stayed aggressive from there.

His 3-pointer with about six and a half minutes left made it 107-96.

Bulls keep sliding

Rookie Caleb Wilson, the No. 4 pick in the draft, led Chicago with 24 points. Norman Powell scored 18.

The Bulls have now lost five straight games.

Up next

The 76ers visit the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. The Bulls play at the Knicks the same night.
