Police raid at Trippie Redd's Florida home ends with arrest of attempted-murder suspect
Miami police say a 25-year-old man wanted in a September shooting was taken into custody at the rapper's Southwest Ranches property.

Tuesday's large police operation at Trippie Redd's South Florida mansion was about finding a shooting suspect, authorities now say.
The Miami Police Department said officers were searching for 25-year-old Braveone Jones, who was wanted in connection with a Sept. 15 shooting outside a Jamaican restaurant in Miami. Police said Jones was found at the rapper's Southwest Ranches property around 6 p.m. and arrested.
The charges
Jones is facing two counts of attempted second-degree murder involving a firearm, according to booking records, with bond reportedly set at $15,000 on each count. He has not been convicted and the case is in its early stages.
Davie police said their officers assisted with the search warrant, while the City of Miami is leading the investigation. Several agencies took part in Tuesday's operation, including the Broward Sheriff's Office, the ATF and SWAT officers from nearby departments.
What isn't known
Authorities have not said why the suspect was at the property or whether Trippie Redd was home. The rapper has not been accused of any wrongdoing and he had not commented publicly as of Wednesday. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
