Sam Altman tells court his sister Ann is using her abuse lawsuit to grow her social media following
In a new court filing Sam Altman accuses his sister Ann of posting parts of her sealed deposition online and asks a judge to step in right away.

OpenAI chief Sam Altman is accusing his younger sister of turning her lawsuit against him into a content machine.
The deposition fight
A new court filing from the billionaire blasts Ann Altman for putting deposition clips online, including on TikTok.
He wants a judge to order her to confirm within three days that she has destroyed every confidential video and transcript from that session.
According to the filing Ann and her legal team have pushed again and again for her right to post the full deposition video online. Sam argues it should never be made public.
'Drive traffic'
Sam goes further and suggests the whole case is about attention. His filing says there is serious reason to believe the real goal of the lawsuit is to generate discovery material she can use to "drive traffic to her social media accounts and podcasts" rather than to pursue her claims in good faith.
He wants the judge to step in without delay.
The underlying case
Ann's suit claims her brother sexually abused her when she was a toddler of 3 and he was 12. Sam has firmly denied the accusations.
Her suit asks for unspecified damages over alleged post-traumatic stress disorder. Sam countersued her for $1 and several relatives have sided with him in court.
No court has made any finding on Ann's claims.
