Undefeated champ Mizuki Hiruta signs with Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions
Undefeated WBO junior bantamweight champion Mizuki Hiruta, Ring Magazine's 2025 Female Fighter of the Year, has signed with Most Valuable Promotions.

Japan's unbeaten junior bantamweight champion is joining Jake Paul's promotional stable.
Mizuki "Mimi" Hiruta has signed with Most Valuable Promotions, adding another high-profile name to the company's women's boxing roster. Hiruta is 11-0 with 2 knockouts.
She has defended her WBO junior bantamweight title seven times since 2023 and was named Ring Magazine's 2025 Female Fighter of the Year.
Chasing a bigger stage
"I'm so excited to chase my dreams with MVP," Hiruta said in a statement. "I'll turn all this gratitude into strength, keep working hard and never lose my smile or forget who I am."
MVP said it intends to expand the 30-year-old's international and U.S. presence. Her last fight came in May on the undercard of Oleksandr Usyk vs. Rico Verhoeven in Giza, Egypt, where she beat Mai Soliman by unanimous decision.
"Japan has some of the best boxers in the world and Mizuki Hiruta has everything it takes to become a global superstar," Paul and MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian said in a joint statement. "She's undefeated, a world champion with seven successful title defenses, a four-time Japanese Female Fighter of the Year and one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world."
Title won early
Hiruta claimed the WBO belt in just her fourth professional bout in December 2022. MVP has not yet announced her promotional debut.
