The Orlando Magic beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 132-116 on Tuesday night at Kia Center in an NBA preseason game that stayed one-sided after the first quarter.

Frontcourt sets the tone

Paolo Banchero scored 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds and three assists in under 28 minutes. Franz Wagner added 20 points and eight assists. Tristan da Silva came off the bench for 18 points and Goga Bitadze had 14.

Orlando shot 52 percent from the field and 36 percent from three and outrebounded Cleveland 54-38. The Magic never trailed after building a double-digit lead in the second quarter.

Cavaliers minutes

Donovan Mitchell scored 15 points and handed out eight assists in about 25 minutes. Evan Mobley had 14 points. James Harden finished with 13 points on 3-of-12 shooting. Meleek Thomas led Cleveland's bench with 16.

Cleveland was without several rotation pieces and used the night to spread minutes across the roster. Orlando also sat Jonathan Isaac and Anthony Black.

Preseason stretch

Both teams continue exhibition play this week before the regular season opens later in October. Orlando's win was its latest test of a starting five that already looks locked in on both ends.
