NBA wipes away Luka Doncic's technical foul from the Lakers' win over Miami
The NBA rescinded the technical foul Luka Doncic picked up in the Lakers' 138-117 win over the Heat. His season total drops from two techs to one.

Luka Doncic got one back from the league office.
The NBA has rescinded the technical foul Doncic was given late in the second quarter of Monday's game against the Miami Heat. The Los Angeles Lakers won that game 138-117.
The ruling drops Doncic's season total from two technical fouls to one.
Trying to keep it clean
Doncic did not get a technical in any of his first four games this season. The one on Monday had been his second in his past three games before the league stepped in.
He has talked openly about cutting down on them. "This season," Doncic said on Oct. 21, "I'm trying to not get techs."
Why the count matters
A player who reaches 16 technical fouls in the regular season gets an automatic one-game suspension and a $5,000 fine.
Doncic has hit that number in four of his eight NBA seasons.
That includes last season with the Lakers. He had to sit out L.A.'s 120-101 win over the Washington Wizards on March 30 to serve the suspension.
