Liev Schreiber gets heated with a reporter at his Nocturne premiere
Liev Schreiber pushed back at a reporter he felt was chasing a viral clip at the New York premiere of his Apple TV+ series Nocturne.
Things got tense between Liev Schreiber and a journalist on the red carpet of his latest series.
The actor was at the New York City premiere of the Apple TV+ series "Nocturne" on Tuesday when he got into a heated back-and-forth with a journalist. He seemed to feel the reporter was fishing for a moment that would go viral online.
"Not a soundbite"
Schreiber told the reporter the conversation should not be a "f***ing soundbite." He stressed that point especially because the interview was happening "in-house."
The reporter kept smiling through the exchange.
A calm finish
People who saw it say the two ended things on good terms. Witnesses described Schreiber as simply passionate about the series.
